You love each other. And somewhere along the way, it got harder to feel it.

Couples therapy in Etobicoke and Mississauga, and online across Ontario. A calm, supportive space to understand what's really happening between you, and find your way back to each other.

Does this sound familiar?

Maybe the same argument keeps coming back, just wearing different clothes. Maybe one of you pursues and the other shuts down, and you both end up feeling alone in the same room. Or maybe there's no big conflict at all; just a growing distance you can't quite name.

You might be here because of:

  • Communication that turns into conflict, or silence

  • Feeling more like roommates than partners

  • Rebuilding trust after a rupture or betrayal

  • Navigating big transitions together — a move, a new baby, career changes, blending families

  • Differences in culture, family expectations, or ways of expressing love

  • Wanting to strengthen a good relationship before problems take root

Whatever brought you here, reaching out takes courage. Most couples wait far longer than they need to. The fact that you're reading this is already a step toward each other.

How couples therapy helps

The patterns that keep couples stuck usually aren't about the dishes, the in-laws, or the phone at the dinner table. Underneath the surface arguments are deeper questions: Do I matter to you? Can I count on you? Are you really here with me?

In our work together, we slow things down enough to see the cycle you're caught in, rather than each other, as the problem. We look at what each of you feels underneath the frustration or the silence, and what you're each protecting. From there, couples often find they can:

  • Break out of repeating arguments and understand what fuels them

  • Say the vulnerable things underneath the anger or withdrawal

  • Rebuild trust, safety, and emotional closeness

  • Handle differences and hard conversations without spiraling

  • Feel like a team again

My approach

My approach is integrative and relational, drawing primarily on emotion-focused therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach developed specifically for couples, along with attachment-focused and mindfulness-based work tailored to your relationship.

I pay close attention to how earlier experiences shape the way each of you connects, protects yourself, and shows love. I won't take sides or hand out blame. My role is to help both of you feel understood, often in ways you haven't felt in a long time, and to guide you toward a new way of reaching for each other.

I'm not afraid to sit with you in the hard moments. I'll meet you there with care, curiosity, and respect.

Intercultural couples

When two cultures share one relationship, love comes with extra layers: family expectations, different languages of affection, questions of identity and belonging, and sometimes the quiet grief of living far from home.

As an immigrant and a partner in an intercultural marriage myself, I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work. Together we can explore how culture shapes your conflict styles, your families' roles in your relationship, and what home means to each of you, so your differences become something you navigate together rather than a wedge between you.

FAQ About Couples Therapy

My partner is hesitant about therapy. Can we still come?

Yes, and this is common. A free consultation is a low-pressure way for a hesitant partner to meet me and ask questions before committing to anything. Many reluctant partners find the experience very different from what they expected.

Do you take sides?

No. In couples therapy, the relationship is my client. My job is to help both of you feel heard and to work with the pattern between you, never to referee or declare a winner.

Is it too late for us?

Couples often arrive feeling this way. While no therapist can promise an outcome, many couples who felt deeply stuck find that understanding their cycle opens a door they thought was closed. The consultation is a safe place to explore whether this work is right for you.

What if we're not married?

Couples therapy is for any partnership: dating, engaged, married, or long-term. If the relationship matters to you, it's worth caring for.

The distance between you didn't appear overnight.

Closing it starts with one conversation.

If you're ready to understand each other again, I'd be glad to meet you both. Book a free consultation whenever it feels right.
